Project Culture

Our method

Imagine everything, before building. It's Project Culture: the thought that precedes matter — and shields it from errors and second thoughts.

01

Listening

Before any line, we listen: how you live, what you need, what moves you. The project starts from you, not from a style.

02

The Common Thread

We gather everything that inspires you, even what seems to contradict itself. Among those images we find the thread: your taste, before you can even name it.

03

Digital Twin

Your space becomes a 3D model. We walk through it, test it, decide every detail — before a single job begins.

04

Renders

From the model come photorealistic images: you see your finished space before starting it. For you to recognise yourself, for us to be sure every idea works.

05

Working Drawings

When everything convinces you, the project becomes precise drawings for those who will build it. Nothing left to chance.

06

On Site

We accompany you through the build, or hand the drawings to your trusted technician. Until the last detail is in place.

What we do

Frequently asked questions

We don't have a single one-size-fits-all price list, because every space and every person is different: renovating an apartment and designing a new villa are very different jobs. The cost of the project is calculated per square metre on the net floor area, so it's always proportional to the real space we work on and stays clear and transparent. We define the exact figure after the first meeting, once we've understood your space and how you want to live in it. The first step — telling us about your space — is always free and with no obligation.

It all starts with listening. In the first meeting — in the studio or by video call — you tell us about your space and how you'd like to live in it, and you show us the images you love, even the ones that seem not to go together. From there we find what we call The Common Thread: the hidden link between your tastes, which becomes the guide for the whole project. Then we work with our method, Project Culture: we define every choice before carrying it out, so you see your finished space in 3D before the works even begin, reducing errors and costs.

Our studio is in Cagliari and we follow projects across all of Sardinia; by appointment we also work in Milan and Lugano. Thanks to our digital method — video calls and a 3D model of the space — we can guide you through many stages remotely too. We still believe presence makes the difference, especially when there's a building site to oversee: that's why we choose together, case by case, the best way to work on your project.

Yes, we can follow you all the way. Besides the design and the renders, we prepare a detailed list of furniture and materials, with instructions for buying them. If you wish, we also coordinate the building site and liaise with contractors and craftsmen, to make sure the built result matches the approved project exactly. You decide how much to involve us: from the design alone to full support until the finished space is delivered.

It depends on the type of work and the size of the space, but we can give you an idea. The design phase — from the first meeting to the final project with renders — usually takes a few weeks, the time needed to define every detail with care. The construction time then depends on the works to be carried out and the companies involved. Precisely because we decide everything before starting, we avoid second thoughts along the way: this makes timelines more predictable and reduces surprises. After the first meeting we can give you a realistic estimate for your specific case.

Both. We design homes — first homes, second homes, villas — but also commercial and professional spaces: restaurants, bars, B&Bs, hotels, offices and shops. This is what we call contract. In every case the method is the same: understanding how the space will be lived in — by a family or by the customers of a business — and designing it to truly work and move those who pass through it.

Yes, it's one of the situations we deal with most often. Many of our clients buy a home in Sardinia — by the sea or inland — while living elsewhere, in Italy or abroad. We organise things to save you trips: we gather all the information about the space, work with video calls and the 3D model of the house, and take care of site visits and on-site coordination ourselves. So you follow the project remotely with peace of mind and find the house ready when you arrive. And if you've just bought a home on the island, our dedicated page explains how we help you transform it.

They're roles that often overlap but are distinct. The architect or engineer mainly deals with the structure and building permits; the decorator, generally, with choosing the furniture. The interior designer designs the space as a whole: how you'll live in each room, the layout, the light, the materials, the colours and the furnishings, keeping everything in harmony. That's our job: shaping bespoke spaces around the people who live in them, coordinating when needed with architects, engineers and contractors for the technical and building side.
